Munich High End 2018 - The Summing Up

It was all about tubes, horns and spinning disks of vinyl and lacquer ....

Our room made a lot of music.

The purple amps really grew on me over the course of the show. What seemed outlandish at first become more and more elegant with time.

The unassuming and high performing D3A. We enjoyed lots of great music through this little tube in the phono section.

The red field coil Mojos

New Elrog 274 rectifiers...

Elrog in a row made quite a show.

Lovely to see.

Music! 78s and LPs were everywhere...

The orange chassis was perfect post modern...

Purple was unusual and a very cool appearance.

More Elrog rectifier glow.

In a row.

Globe 46s - 46 drives 46 - these were a treat from Herr Mayer. Very rare and sounding fantastic.

Oops, the line stage I was lusting after... is glowing in my listening room today. More to follow on that!

Array of Line Stage rectifiers.

Elrog 211

The Field Coil Mojo was very popular.

We shall also be in Hong Kong thus August!

Please come see us with Elrog, Thomas Mayer and Thomas Schick!

My Thanks to Thomas Mayer of VinylSavor / Elrog Tubes for having us at the show, Peter Rienders of PTP Audio for bringing his awesome Lenco inspired turntables and Frank who so generously shares his 78 RPM collection and the history that goes with them.

Until next time... Happy Listening.
